From the Dean's Office
Unfortunately for me, summer is speeding by way too quickly. Today (July 18) is the last day of summer school and the summer commencement is Saturday. Before you know it, fall semester will be here. I do have a special trip left this summer— on August 6, I will leave for the Beijing Olympics with my son. I went to the 2004 games in Athens and had such a great time that I have to go again. My son works with three of the US Olympic groups so it is business for him, but fun for me.

Speaking of Beijing, if you have any contacts with US firms who have Beijing operations, I would like to hear from you. The COB has a growing program with several Chinese universities who send students here for two years of study. The first wave of students is returning home and they are interested in doing internships with US-connected firms. The students have studied business with us, have English language skills, and are familiar with our culture.

Until next month, GO CARDS!
