
Entrepreneurship Center nationally ranked
The entrepreneurship program in Miller College has been ranked again this year as being among the ten best in the country by U.S. News and World Report. Since 1999, the undergraduate entrepreneurship program has been consistently included in U.S. News & World Report’s top ten ranking. Read more.
Sales major approved
A new undergraduate major in sales to be offered by the college starting Fall 2010 has been approved by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Ball State joins a handful of institutions across the nation that offer a sales major. The HH Gregg Center for Professional Selling has a national reputation for leadership, and is one of twelve full-time members of the University Sales Center Alliance.

Graduate courses in Fishers
Beginning in the Spring 2010 semester, the college will offer classes towards the Graduate Certificate in Business Essentials with courses applicable to the MBA degree at Ball State’s Outreach Services Site in Fishers. Survey of Marketing (MKG 505) will be taught on Mondays at 6 p.m. For more information about the MBA degree or graduate certificate program, visit us online or call 765-285-1931.

We invite you and your family and friends to game day festivities on Saturday, October 3, beginning with a pre-game rally and buffet from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. at the Alumni Center. Meet former business classmates, members of the Miller College Alumni Society Board and faculty and enjoy group seating for business alumni.
Kick-off for the Cards vs. the Toledo Rockets is set for noon at Scheumann Stadium. Following the game you are invited to enjoy refreshments at the Alumni Center. Post-game beverage tickets for the cash bar are included in your reservation package, along with a parking pass. The package price is $29. Faculty news
Two professors in the Miller College were recognized by Ball State University this year for their outstanding achievements. Sushil Sharma, chair and professor of Information Systems and Operations Management, received the 2008-09 Ball State Outstanding Faculty Award and Jennifer Bott, associate professor, Marketing and Management, was recognized as the 2008-09 Outstanding Junior Faculty Member. Each year, the provost recognizes one faculty member across campus with these awards. Congratulations to both!
