The Miller Honors Program (including Miller Scholars) gives students a unique head-start in their business education. The programs provide a specialized curriculum, a peer support group and supplemental learning outside the classroom with specially designed social and professional development activities.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I’ve really gotten a positive impression of the program so far. I enjoy the small classes and like having the same group of people in them so I’m able to get to know people and know who to talk to if I have questions. Everyone has been extremely helpful and has made the transition to college as smooth as possible.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I think Ball State and especially the Miller College Honors Program is extremely helpful when trying to set yourself apart in school. It’s something that gives you an advantage on other students. It has given me the opportunity to start taking classes toward my major right away instead of waiting like many other students. Classes have a different atmosphere and everyone is always willing to answer questions you may have or help out in any way they can. It’s definitely a program I would recommend to others.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Overall very good impressions on everything at Ball State. There is always something to do on campus, and the people are all very nice. In the business program, I like having the same group of people in classes who help out each other and are in the program to experience more than just the normal business curriculum. Being able to take classes as an underclassman also helps to get acclimated faster to the type of courses that I am going to take in the future.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I would recommend Ball State and the Miller Honors Program because it is a great way to experience real world business life in college and is a very good resume builder, depending on if you get involved in the numerous activities presented. The small class size and the professors' initiative to help students individually is the main thing that stood out to me, particularly about the Miller College Honors Program.

The size of the campus is also perfect; still a lot of people but not too overwhelming. Miller Honors really gets you involved in the business college, and you’re offered a lot more guidance and advantages.

We have a couple meetings each month along with fun outings and classes with other Miller Honors students our age, which helps to build friendships with students with similar interests. Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: On my first visit to Ball State, I really took a liking to the whole campus and everything it had to offer. It was just the right size and only about an hour away from home, which is very nice! I was accepted into the university and then the University Honors College and then the Pre-Business Honors Program, and I knew all of these would bring great opportunities to help me reach my goals. I was impressed with the Pre-Business Honors Program because of the size of each class; I realized that I was going to be a part of an “elite” group, which is really cool.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Ball State has so much to offer. The Miller Honors Program is an awesome opportunity to advance you in more than just the business degree of your choosing, it helps prepare you as a person in many aspects. It is rewarding to see that you are apart of a select group and the friends you’ll meet through the program are friendly and will be there with you for at least the next four years.
