The Miller Honors Program (including Miller Scholars) gives students a unique head-start in their business education. The programs provide a specialized curriculum, a peer support group and supplemental learning outside the classroom with specially designed social and professional development activities.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I’ve really gotten a positive impression of the program so far. I enjoy the small classes and like having the same group of people in them so I’m able to get to know people and know who to talk to if I have questions. Everyone has been extremely helpful and has made the transition to college as smooth as possible.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I think Ball State and especially the Miller College Honors Program is extremely helpful when trying to set yourself apart in school. It’s something that gives you an advantage on other students. It has given me the opportunity to start taking classes toward my major right away instead of waiting like many other students. Classes have a different atmosphere and everyone is always willing to answer questions you may have or help out in any way they can. It’s definitely a program I would recommend to others.

Interesting Fact: One of my favorite candies is Almond Joy, but I hate almonds so I only eat the coconut and chocolate. I don’t eat Mounds because I like milk chocolate better than dark chocolate.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Overall very good impressions on everything at Ball State. There is always something to do on campus, and the people are all very nice. In the business program, I like having the same group of people in classes who help out each other and are in the program to experience more than just the normal business curriculum. Being able to take classes as an underclassman also helps to get acclimated faster to the type of courses that I am going to take in the future.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I would recommend Ball State and the Miller Honors Program because it is a great way to experience real world business life in college and is a very good resume builder, depending on if you get involved in the numerous activities presented. The small class size and the professors' initiative to help students individually is the main thing that stood out to me, particularly about the Miller College Honors Program.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I chose Ball State because of the campus size and the great opportunities there are in the business program. I really like the smaller class sizes and how helpful all the students and faculty are.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Students on campus are very welcoming and willing to help you. There’s a great diversity of students and faculty. The size of the campus is also perfect; still a lot of people but not too overwhelming. Miller Honors really gets you involved in the business college, and you’re offered a lot more guidance and advantages.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I think Miller Honors is a well-run, fun and opportunity-filled program. We have a couple meetings each month along with fun outings and classes with other Miller Honors students our age, which helps to build friendships with students with similar interests. The program can present challenges to make us better students, and there are always unlimited opportunities in which to partake.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I think the program offers a lot to students. It gives guidelines for class schedules, presents opportunities for anything and everything, promotes friendships and, overall, it guides us into the professional world.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: On my first visit to Ball State, I really took a liking to the whole campus and everything it had to offer. It was just the right size and only about an hour away from home, which is very nice! I was accepted into the university and then the University Honors College and then the Pre-Business Honors Program, and I knew all of these would bring great opportunities to help me reach my goals. I was impressed with the Pre-Business Honors Program because of the size of each class; I realized that I was going to be a part of an “elite” group, which is really cool.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Ball State has so much to offer. The Miller Honors Program is an awesome opportunity to advance you in more than just the business degree of your choosing, it helps prepare you as a person in many aspects. It is rewarding to see that you are apart of a select group and the friends you’ll meet through the program are friendly and will be there with you for at least the next four years.

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Ball State is amazing! The campus itself is just beautiful, and it already feels like home. I’ve been so impressed with the Miller College and Miller Honors. The professors and other students are so welcoming. I feel like this is where I belong. They really care about you and your Miller College of Business experience.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: The Miller Honors Program is one of the reasons I chose Ball State. The opportunities for networking, learning and study abroad available to us are just incredible. There are so many possibilities for my future at the Miller College. Even without the scholarship, I would still have chosen Ball State.

The campus is beautiful and the students and staff are very friendly.The Miller Honors Program gives you so many opportunities that you probably wouldn’t get anywhere else on campus. I couldn’t be happier.

Ball State Interests/Activities: Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Ball State has a beautiful campus filled with friendly people. This was the first time I had been away from home. I was nervous, but everyone was there to be my friend and introduce me to others.
Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: The Miller Honors Program allows you to become very close to the students and the faculty. It makes it easy to find people to help out with homework or studying. I was nervous about my choice to be part of the honors program at Ball State but now I’m really happy that I did.
Interesting Fact: Ball State is the first school I’ve gone to that another family member has not attended.

Why I recommend Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: The Miller Honors Program is an extremely immersive program, focusing both on academic portions and real-world experience. The program encourages its participants to create their own ideas and follow them through to success, which is critical in the actual business environment. The instructors and associates of the program are fantastic people and are also wonderful friends.
Interesting Fact: I have been on television more than a dozen times, appearing on Brain Game (a television show airing in central Indiana).

Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: Although I have only been in school a month, I love the community and culture around campus.
